Announcing Earth Sama: A New Venture Bridging the Funding Gap for Nature-Based Solutions

Global Coralition is thrilled to announce the launch of Earth Sama, an innovative new venture founded by Angeline Chen, Co-Founder of Global Coralition, and Uynghiem Ngo, a previous Officer of Global Coralition. Birthed from years of hands-on experience with Global Coralition’s restoration projects and the work from their partners Despri Haiti; Earth Sama is dedicated to transforming how funds flow into the frontlines of environmental restoration.

Previously called CO2e, Earth Sama is a climate-tech platform aiming to scale regenerative carbon removal projects by unlocking access to carbon financing for NGOs and rural and indigenous communities.

Sama has varied meanings across different languages; “to join” in Tagalog, “respected” in Japanese, and “harmony” in Sanskrit.

• A climate creator platform that enables project developers to mint traceable, standards-aligned carbon assets ready for future compliance under Article 6.4.

• A blockchain-secured monitoring and onboarding app for farmers, built to enable high-integrity data capture across remote regions.

• Smart contract infrastructure to support carbon revenue sharing, performance tracking, and community-level governance.
