Arise: A Monument to the Divine Feminine and Global Coralition’s Mission

A beacon of the divine feminine, Arise holds generations with strength and love, guiding humanity to rise with courage and compassion.

At Burning Man 2025, amid one of the world’s most influential gatherings of art and culture, a monumental figure emerged from the desert: Arise.

Built under the creative vision of Global Coralition co-founders Angeline Chen and Kyle Doodle Block, Arise embodies the rise of the divine feminine and humanity’s collective call to meet the challenges of our times. Crafted from steel with a patina of copper, bronze, and brass, she took two months to design, three to build, and two weeks to pack, assemble, and break down before her debut on the playa.

Arise is not thunderous power, but something deeper: the quiet, steady resilience that carries generations forward. She holds the family like the earth holds roots, nourishing, unseen yet essential. With staffs lit aflame, she walks through the darkness, clearing paths and calling upon others to rise. She does not simply dream of a better tomorrow; she builds it, with intention, grace, fire in her spirit, and softness in her eyes.

On Saturday night, after the Man was burned, participants gathered around Arise to honor the goddess, to celebrate, and to activate her presence. The experience was both ritual and reminder: that in unity, in resilience, and in reverence, we find our path forward.

For Global Coralition, Arise is more than art, she is a vessel of awareness and action.

“Arise calls us to embody resilience and to rise, not only for ourselves but for our communities and for the planet. Through her, we share Global Coralition’s mission and remind the world that regeneration begins with intention and courage,” said Angeline Chen, co-founder of Global Coralition.

Now, the journey continues. Global Coralition is seeking a new home for Arise, where she can keep raising awareness and inspire collective action. Proceeds connected to her next chapter will support the launch of Global Coralition’s next underwater sculpture site, bringing together art, science, and community to regenerate our oceans.

Arise is not only a monument, she is a movement.
